Singing in a choir is the most natural way to make music and express oneself! It is a great way to further build a sense of community, but above all, it offers tremendous benefit to intellectual, emotional, and spiritual development. Singing in a choir develops important skills for music lovers and singers; among these are the ability to sing precisely in tune and stay in tune with the choir, learning control over levels of volume, accurate pronunciation, correct diction, and overall producing a healthy tone through the use of proper vocal technique. The choir will work together to expand their skills and hopefully make meaningful friendships to last them for years!

Youth in Harmony wants to show students that making music is not something to be left to professional or pop stars, but something that can be enjoyed as part of their daily lives with friends and family. Singing music from the Classical genre to Disney Hits, Rock'N'Roll, Musical Theatre, and Contemporary Pop Music, Youth in Harmony will perform music from diverse cultural and historical periods. Music reading skills will be taught and honed as the choir learns, practices, and performs a vast amount of choral music. Youth in Harmony will also offer students and youth to perform in front of live audiences regularly! 

Youth in Harmony is a teen choir for students ages 13 and up. Rehearsals currently take place on Tuesday evenings, 7:30pm-8:30pm at Chaska Music Studios. As performances approach, there may be additional rehearsals to bring the entire choir together to practice.

Every student who is interested will be welcomed to join the chorus, no one will be rejected. Come discover the singer in you! Choir members may join at any time. The monthly fee is $45.00. Register on the registration page!
