Kate Moore holds a music degree from McNally Smith College of Music in Piano Performance and graduated as Magne Cumlaude at the top of her class. She has worked as a professional musician for over thirteen years and is known for singing styles of music from gospel to jazz and has entertained audiences in venues such as The Times, The Shouthouse, The Townhouse, Brits, Camp and others in the Twin Citites.
Not only has she become known as a local talent, but she has also spent time internationally as an itinerate music minister leading worship both singing and playing the piano with the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, White Dove Ministries, and Frontline Worship Centre.
She has worked/works with Bobby Stanton, Jeff Bailey, Michael Pilhoffer, Bruce Henry, Rachel Holder, Cory Wong, Bill Finn, Tim Kloster, Ben Kelly, Alex Young, Bryan Forrester, Chopper Black, Misty Edwards, John Ragsdale, Jonny Nash, Deryck Box, Brady Toops, and has trained under Susan Hellerud, Gary Gratz, Sean Turner, Erin Schwab, and Lori Dokken.
Kate has been teaching for years, but was taken in by Chaska School of Music early in 2009.
When Kate isn’t teaching at Chaska, she enjoys maintaining Kate Moore Designs (her art and interior design business) and is happily married to her husband, Josh. Together, Josh and Kate live in Burnsville and have a dog (Nikita) and cat (JJ…the animals came with their names).
