Kacie’s music journey started at age 6 at Chaska Music Studios studying piano, and later guitar and flute. She continued her music lessons at Chaska Music Studios until graduating from Chanhassen High School in 2011. Kacie was highly involved in music throughout high school and college, playing in several ensembles (orchestras, jazz, marching band, musicals, etc.), accompanying singers, teaching, performing at recitals and community events. 

Kacie performed with the Gustavus Wind Orchestra for three years as the pianist and toured internationally in Eastern Europe. Her strong interest in teaching led her to take pedagogy courses and teach private lessons to K-12 students in the Gustavus Piano Lab Program for 4 years. She was selected to perform at the 2015 Senior Honors Recital at Gustavus.
Following her graduation from Gustavus in 2015, Kacie has been continuing her music career as a Private Lesson Instructor, Professional Accompanist, and Performer for weddings and community events, in addition to working in Marketing/Communications. She has been teaching at Chaska Music Studios since 2015, and is excited to now be teaching full time at the studio! Kacie enjoys attending MTNA conferences, learning about new methods and repertoire, and creating individualized lesson plans for each of her students.
