Beth hails from Minneapolis, MN, where she earned her Masters of Music Degree in Viola Performance, Suzuki Teacher Training in Violin, and has a teaching license in K-12 Music Education. Beth has two decades of professional and amateur symphony orchestra experience, chamber music training and performance, and owned a private teaching studio for viola and violin. Beth has performed in opera, hip-hop, folk, Celtic, and fiddle groups and she continues to take lessons herself to improve her teaching and playing abilities. Whether you are exploring the viola or violin for the first time, renewing your interest, playing for the sheer joy, or working your way to a college or orchestra audition, Beth has the experience, knowledge and passion to create an authentic understanding of how to play your viola/violin and to share the joy of music with you.
